They secretly blended a Connecticut Shade-wrapped cigar, impressing Drew Estate’s master blender, Willy Herrera, enough to make it an official brand. The Undercrown Shade features a silky light-colored Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper with a smooth and slightly sweet character, a Sumatran binder, and a filler blend of Dominican Criollo 98 and Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo. This unique combination delivers a creamy smoke with notes of toast, nuts, and a hint of spice, evolving into a nuanced symphony of cedar and sweet cream.
