In 1981 Carlos and Carlito released the Hemingway cigar series with their unique figurado shape. Up until that point the figurado was, for the most part, unique to Cuba and even there somewhat or a lost art. The Arturo Fuente Hemingway Classics exemplify the perfect example of a traditional figurado cigar, with a highly crafted foot and the subtle tapering shape giving this top of the line Dominican cigar a perfect symmetry. No Hemingway cigar is ever boxed until it has been aged for no less than six months or longer if the tobacco is deemed to need more time to reach perfection.
