Among the legendary names in the world of cigars, Gispert Honduran cigars are crafted by Altadis USA, a company renowned for its extensive portfolio of premium cigars, including Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta. The Gispert Toro features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, a Honduran binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers. This combination results in a mild to medium-bodied smoke with flavors of cream, cedar, nuts, and a touch of spice.

These cigars are produced at the Flor de Copan factory in Honduras, which is also known for creating other esteemed cigars like the H. Upmann Reserve and Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real. The master blender behind Gispert Honduran is Grupo de Maestros, a team of expert blenders from Altadis. The brand has received several accolades, including a Cigar Aficionado rating of 90 for its balanced and approachable profile that delivers a smooth and flavorful smoking experience, perfect for both beginners and seasoned smokers. Gispert cigars pair exceptionally well with a light, refreshing drink such as a mojito or a crisp white wine.

Reading all of the reviews, I expected this to be a pretty mild cigar. Boy they were wrong. It starts out pretty subtle, but about a half inch into it it has this peppery spiciness to it until the end. The only problem I had was that it needed a couple of relights. But still, a great cigar for the price.

Perfect burn, great solid ash. Rolled supurb. Connecticut wraper devoid of any veins. The draw is flawless. Flavor is mild with thick clouds of white smoke. Hints of cedar and berries. A 92 on my personal scale.

Very nice cigar, mild but with a lot taste, burn well till the end, a real winner.
