The Monte No. 1 is a very nice cigar, mild to medium. Not heavy on taste but not bland at all. Amazingly even burn with somewhat firm draw but consistent throughout. Beautiful soft ash stood more than 1/2 inch. Recommended!

    2. Overworked01

My favorite cigar is the Havana Montecristo Number 4, but this is a bit milder and a longer smoke, which peaks perfectly at 2/3 of the stick. It’s an excellent, rich, and mild Montecristo cigar, at a slightly better price than the Cuban.

I think this is a great cigar. The taste was smooth and creamy, leafy tobacco. Montecristo No. 1 is typically reviewed as a strong cigar, but I found it a bit towards medium. Reminded me of a Cuban H. Upmann cigar.
