My Father Le Bijou 1922 cigars, having won designation of #1 Cigar of the Year in 2015 by Cigar Aficionado, is among the most sought after cigars in the My Father range. This absolute gem of a cigar was created by Jose “Pepin” Garcia to honor his father, who was born in 1922. The aim was to create a cigar meant for special occasions. Full-Bodied with an exquisite and exceptional aroma. The jewel of the Garcia family cigars showcasing their deep passion for creating cigars in the Cuban cigar tradition.
Presented in elegant white boxes of 23 cigars, each cigar is identified with a second band with the name of the Bijou’s unique blend. The cigar is finished with an aged Habano Oscuro wrapper that’s deeply dark brown, almost black, covering a full-bodied blend of vintage leaf grown in the best soils of Nicaragua for the long filler and binder tobaccos. The result is an exquisite and exceptional aroma, delicate yet complex full-bodied notes of chocolate, cedar, and spice.
My Father Cigars are handmade in Nicaragua by master blender Don Pepin Garcia. The cigars are made from specially selected tobacco grown at My Father farms in Esteli, Nicaragua. The My Father Cigars brand was conceived by Don Pepin’s son, Jaime, who on his own, quietly blended and developed the very first of the My Father cigars covertly. His plan was to surprise his father by honoring him with the new cigar line.
My Father Cigars are now considered to be one of the top brands on the market with a diverse portfolio of top-quality blends which have accumulated top ratings, awards, and honors including Cigar Aficionado’s #1 Cigar of the Year accolades.
