José Orlando Padrón was born in Cuba in 1926 and grew up in a family of tobacco farmers. In the early 1960s, he left Cuba and settled in Miami, where in 1964 he started what was then a small cigar company. This is by far my favorite Padron so far. I have tried 2 other Padrons before this one, and for me this one is the best. Great flavors and a nice burn. I only have 1 left, so I'll have to get more soon.

Honestly the <i>Padron 3000 Maduro</i> is one of a kind. It has everything a cigar lover could ask for. It burns absolutely perfect and it draws wonderfully. Smooth, mild with a unique flavor. Great cigar. My favorite!
