Master blender Luciano del Santo continues the legacy with meticulous attention to traditional techniques.

The Originale honors centuries-old tradition. A flagship for the brand’s reintroduction of handcrafted cigars in 1985, it helped preserve artisanal cigar rolling in response to consumer demand after a period when machine production nearly eclipsed the old ways.

The roll is rustic, with a rugged, uneven look that’s characteristic of a traditional fire-cured cheroot. The draw produces a consistent, full stream of hearty smoke.  The smoke is long, firm, and rich—ideal with a robust red wine like Amarone or a rich grappa.
