  A truly unique Cohiba item.  A stunningly crisp photo print poster of the only Cohiba cigar sign we've ever seen.  This is a high quality photo print of a vintage Cohiba Cigar Factory Sign.  A large size at 20 x 12.875 inches (total size of 22 x 14.875, including the edge border), makes this a great frameable piece for any Cuban cigar fan or collector.  This unique photo find is printed on semi-matt professional grade photo grade paper stock.

  Cohiba cigars are produced at the famous El Laguito cigar factory in Cuba, where they're hand rolled to perfection. The sign photographed bears the classic Cuban Cohiba logo with the famous indian head above dominating the center of the print.  Beneath the logo is the "La Habana, Cuba" script. The wooden sign pictured is old, weathered and has been beaten up over the years, giving it a vintage, classic, aged and distressed look and feel.

  It's hand-painted and looks like it's spent a century on the wall of the factory rolling room in Havana as the torceadores worked under its gaze in the heat rolling the leaves into works of art.

  No Cigars Included.  The Cohiba Macassar Empty Cigar Box is one of the most sought after and hard to find cigar boxes, and priced accordingly. Why? Because it is ridiculously nice. Super high gloss finish, that's so sleek it looks like water on the box. Beautiful graphics and just first class in every way. A simply sensational cigar box, that is nothing short of an elegant handmade wood case. The Cohiba Macassar boxes come in three slightly different dimensions, all measure approximately 9 1/4 x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches, so the exact box you get will vary based on stock on the day of your order. We will always default to sending the largest of the three sizes that we have on the day. All our boxes are real cigar boxes shipped from the manufacturer with cigars. For the Cohiba Macassar boxes, the cigars are carefully removed, and the boxes re-packaged with all original packaging, so that you're essentially getting a straight from factory grade box. These boxes have not spent time on our retail shelves and have not been handled by anyone other than one staff member here, for just as long as it takes to remove the ten cigars and carefully re-package the box, which includes protective foam material. They are in as-new, excellent condition.  Note:  To be clear - no cigars are included in this product.   This is a large solid wood cigar band sign, measuring 35 inches wide, and 11 inches tall, made of 1 inch thick solid wood.  One of the most unique cigar items we've ever found, this handmade sign depicts the "Original" Cuban Cohiba Cigar Band on a wooden sign.  Made of solid wood, this sign depicts one of the earliest designs of the Cohiba cigar band, dating back to the late 1960s, when it was  initially a private roll for Castro himself, and then used as diplomatic gifts from Castro to world leaders, dignitaries and VIPS. The 1960s Cohiba cigar band is applied on solid wood, then gently distressed and faded to give it an aged look, finished with a clear matte protective polyurethane finish.  The back is stained in a dark oak and includes hanging hardware, allowing you to hang it fast and easily, with a single nail or hook.  These are made by hand, and individually distressed  so each sign is totally unique in terms of the distressing, fading and the patina of the wood. This is a rare representation of the "original" Cohiba cigar band, circa 1966.   Very little is known about this vintage Cohiba cigar band.  It was used briefly in the late 1960s or early 70s.  At the time, many of the top Cuban brands would routinely produce unique cigar bands for VIPs and businesses, incorporating their name into the band.  It's believed this design was one of those customs bands put on early Cohibas as a one-off, long before the use of the modern Cohiba band we all know.  From our research into this band we have seen only one reference to it in authoritative Cuban cigar history resources, with very little background given other than that it was an official release by the Cuban cigar authority at the time, long before the brand was made available to the public market.  It is well known that Cohiba was initially a special cigar made as special gifts for VIPs and dignitaries, and we suspect this rare Cohiba band was one of these.  For the cigar history experts out there, feel free to let us know what more you know about this piece of cigar history.
